My Christian sympathy to the Mielcarek family. I'd like to share with you that Jimmy and I were in the same AA home group. Back in the early 90's, Jim questioned me as to why I always referred to my "Higher Power" as the Lord Jesus Christ. We got to talking, and I shared my faith with him. Jimmy prayed at that time to receive the Lord Jesus into his heart, and for a time got involved in Bible reading. I know that the moment Jimmy asked Christ into his life, his name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life, never to be removed. I know that Jimmy's soul is in the presence of his Lord. Despite past indiscretions, all have been washed by the Blood of the Lamb.
