She enjoyed knitting and making afghans for her family and church bazaars.

In recent years she made her home at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village where she participated in many activities and won many a bingo game.

Marie was a kind, gentle woman who had many lifelong friends. She often wrote hand written notes, remembered and acknowledged birthdays and anniversaries with a card and always added her own personal message.

Worth, TX, Frances (Bevan) Smith of Amherst, OH, Mary Jo (Dan) Duffy of Lorain, OH, Robert Montalto of Athens, OH and Michael Montalto of Oakland, CA; six dear grandchildren and spouses, Donna Eason, Lisa (Jeff) Tumlinson all of Fort Worth, TX, Adam Montalto of Seattle, WA, Joseph (Elizabeth) Perez of Flower Mound, TX, Charles Perez of Lorain, OH, and Angela (Paul) Meyer of Plainfield, IL; ten cherished great grandchildren, Tiffanie and Chance (Jessica) Eason, Andrew, Natalie and Elisabeth Meyer, Cassie and Carlyn Perez, Crystal (Zach) Thomas, Ashley and Taylor Tumlinson; 3 precious great-great grandchildren, Bryson Eason, Landry Thomas, and Madison McCoy; sisters-in-law, Georgene Perrier, and Joan Plumb; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
