Lorain- Angelo Donald DelPrincipe, 74, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.

Angelo was born on November 26, 1935 in Bedford, Ohio to his parents, Dominic and Louise (nee: DePompei) DelPrincipe.

He graduated from Lorain High School, class of 1954 A. Following high school, Angelo enlisted in the United States Army, serving four years for his country in the United States and Germany.

Returning home from his service to his country, Angelo returned to school and graduated from Kent State University, receiving his bachelors degree in Business. Following graduation, he worked for numerous employers in accounting before starting his own practice, Central Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Lorain for over 42 years. Angelo married Marilyn Ann (nee: Williams) on January 27, 1960 and raised four children together. He was a member of St. Peter Church, Lorain and the Italian American Veterans Post #1, Lorain. Angelo enjoyed golfing with his family and friends and he had a great love for his family.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn Ann DelPrincipe; his children, Karen (John) Eibon of Amherst, Lisa (Greg) Trachsel of Cincinnati, David (Gina) DelPrincipe of Avon and Beth (Michael) Yoder of Avon; grandchildren, John, Matthew and Derek Eibon: Elise and Allison Trachsel: Dominic, Cassandra and Abigail DelPrincipe: and Anna Yoder.

He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Robert DelPrincipe.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440) 244-1961 on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 1-3 and 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 14, 2010 at St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH 44053, Rev. Craig Hovanec, Pastor, officiating (meet at church on Thursday). Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain where military honors will be conducted by the Italian American Veterans Post #1. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Online condolences may be sent using www.rsgfuneralhome.com
